Staff Software Engineer, Billing Platform

Billing is the core of the Tile Health value proposition. As a Staff Engineer, you will set architecture and raise the bar for the systems that capture every billable minute correctly.

What You'll Do

• Set technical direction and architecture for the billing platform
• Lead design and implementation of complex, high-reliability services
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering best practices
• Partner with product and compliance to meet billing requirements

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of software engineering with deep backend experience
• Track record leading complex technical projects end to end
• Strong system design skills and pragmatism about reliability
• Experience mentoring and elevating other engineers

Nice to Have

• Experience with healthcare billing or payments systems
• Familiarity with regulated, audit-heavy domains
