About This Role
Clinician burnout is reaching crisis levels, and a significant contributor is the administrative overhead that takes time away from patient care. Tile Health’s clinical workflow automation products aim to intelligently route tasks, auto-populate documentation, and orchestrate multi-step care processes. The Product Manager for Clinical Workflow Automation will define the vision for how automation can give clinicians back their time-while maintaining the human oversight that safety-critical healthcare demands.
What You'll Do
- Define the product vision and roadmap for clinical workflow automation capabilities including task routing, documentation assist, and order set optimization
- Map complex clinical workflows across multiple specialties and care settings to identify the highest-impact automation candidates
- Partner with the AI team to define the requirements for workflow intelligence features including auto-suggestion, smart defaults, and exception handling
- Design human-in-the-loop guardrails that ensure automated actions are transparent, auditable, and easily overridden by clinicians
- Measure the impact of automation features on clinician time savings, documentation completeness, and care process adherence
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience with at least 2 years focused on workflow automation or clinical applications
- Strong understanding of clinical care processes across inpatient and ambulatory settings
- Experience working with AI/ML teams to incorporate intelligent automation into product features
- Ability to balance automation ambition with patient safety considerations, designing appropriate human oversight mechanisms
- Proficiency with workflow modeling tools and the ability to visualize complex multi-actor care processes
- Excellent user research skills for understanding clinician workflows through observation and interview techniques
Nice to Have
- Clinical background or certification (RN, PA, or similar)
- Experience with business process management (BPM) platforms or robotic process automation tools
- Familiarity with CPOE, order set management, and clinical protocol design
- Background in Lean or Six Sigma process improvement methodologies applied to healthcare
