About This Role
Patients are at the center of everything Tile Health builds. The Principal Product Manager for Patient Experience will own the products that patients interact with directly-the mobile app, patient portal, communication tools, and health data access features. This role requires a rare combination of consumer product sensibility, healthcare domain knowledge, and the ability to design for diverse patient populations with varying health literacy and technology fluency.
What You'll Do
- Define the product strategy and roadmap for patient-facing experiences across web and mobile platforms
- Conduct user research and usability testing with diverse patient populations to validate product hypotheses and design decisions
- Collaborate with clinical and legal teams to ensure patient-facing features comply with information blocking rules, consent requirements, and accessibility standards
- Drive the development of patient health literacy features that help individuals interpret lab results, medication instructions, and care plans
- Establish product analytics frameworks that measure patient engagement, activation, and satisfaction across digital touchpoints
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years focused on consumer or patient-facing health products
- Deep understanding of patient engagement challenges and the digital health tools landscape
- Experience with ONC information blocking rules and patient access API requirements (21st Century Cures Act)
- Strong quantitative skills for defining metrics, running experiments, and interpreting behavioral data
- Excellent communication skills for articulating product vision to executives, engineers, clinicians, and patient advocates
- Passion for health equity and experience designing products for underserved or low-health-literacy populations
Nice to Have
- Experience with Apple Health, Google Health Connect, or patient-generated health data
- Background in behavioral science or health behavior change models
- Familiarity with CMS patient experience measures (HCAHPS, CAHPS)
- Direct experience building products at the intersection of healthcare and financial wellbeing
