Head of Revenue Cycle Operations

About This Role

Tile Health helps health systems optimize their revenue cycle through intelligent automation and real-time analytics. The Head of Revenue Cycle Operations will build and lead the team that ensures our platform delivers measurable improvements in clean claim rates, denial recovery, and collection velocity. This is a player-coach role that combines deep revenue cycle expertise with leadership skills to manage a growing operations team.

What You'll Do

• Build and manage a revenue cycle operations team responsible for claims submission, payment posting, denial management, and payer follow-up
• Establish operational KPIs and SLAs for each stage of the revenue cycle, implementing dashboards to track real-time performance
• Design workflows that leverage Tile Health’s automation tools to reduce manual intervention in charge capture, coding, and claims scrubbing
• Partner with product and engineering teams to translate operational pain points into platform feature requirements
• Negotiate and manage relationships with clearinghouses, billing vendors, and payer representatives
• Lead root-cause analysis for high-denial categories and implement systemic process improvements

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of healthcare revenue cycle management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role
• Expert knowledge of professional and facility billing, CPT/HCPCS coding, and payer contract interpretation
• Experience implementing revenue cycle technology solutions (RCM platforms, robotic process automation, AI-assisted coding)
• Demonstrated success improving KPIs such as clean claim rate, first-pass resolution rate, and days in AR
• Strong people management skills with experience building and scaling operational teams

Nice to Have

• HFMA or AAHAM certification
• Experience working with both commercial and government payers (Medicare, Medicaid)
• Background in multi-specialty or health system revenue cycle operations
• Familiarity with prior authorization automation and eligibility verification workflows
