About This Role
Tile Health is scaling rapidly, and the Head of People Operations will be responsible for creating the infrastructure, policies, and programs that ensure every employee has a best-in-class experience. From onboarding and benefits to performance management and culture initiatives, you will build the operational foundation that enables Tile Health to attract, retain, and develop exceptional talent in a competitive market. This role reports to the Chief People Officer and partners with every function in the organization.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement people operations processes including onboarding, offboarding, leave management, and HR compliance
- Select, configure, and manage HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration platforms for a growing workforce
- Develop and administer the performance review cycle, calibration process, and promotion framework
- Build employee engagement programs and conduct regular pulse surveys to identify cultural health indicators
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, managing multi-state employment complexities for a distributed workforce
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of HR or people operations experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role at a technology company
- Experience building people operations infrastructure at a growth-stage company (100-500 employees)
- Deep knowledge of employment law across multiple US states, particularly for hybrid and remote workforces
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Rippling, BambooHR, or Workday) and payroll systems
- Data-driven approach to people decisions, with experience using HR analytics to inform strategy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for coaching managers and advising executives
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare technology or life sciences organizations
- SHRM-SCP or PHR certification
- Background in building DEI programs and inclusive workplace practices
- Experience managing people operations through a high-growth phase or organizational transformation
