- Establish accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA) for all components and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to align Figma component library with the React component implementation
- Create detailed contribution guidelines and governance processes that enable other designers to extend the system responsibly
- Conduct usability reviews of new components in the context of clinical workflows to ensure they meet healthcare UX standards
- Track adoption metrics and gather designer and developer feedback to prioritize system improvements
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of product design experience with at least 2 years dedicated to design systems work
- Expert proficiency in Figma, including advanced component architecture, auto-layout, and variables
- Strong understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, React) sufficient to collaborate deeply with engineers
- Proven experience shipping and maintaining a design system at scale (50+ components, multiple product teams)
- Deep knowledge of WCAG accessibility guidelines and inclusive design principles
Nice to Have

- Familiarity with Storybook, Chromatic, or similar component documentation and testing tools
- Experience with design token systems and multi-brand theming
