About This Role
Tile Health is building the next generation of clinical intelligence tools that empower providers with actionable insights at the point of care. As a Clinical Informatics Specialist, you will serve as the connective tissue between our engineering teams and clinical end-users, ensuring that our platform reflects real-world care delivery. You will work closely with hospital IT departments, clinical champions, and internal product teams to optimize EHR integrations and clinical decision support modules.
What You'll Do
- Analyze clinical workflows across partner health systems and recommend informatics-driven improvements to reduce documentation burden
- Configure and validate clinical decision support rules within the Tile Health platform, ensuring alignment with evidence-based guidelines
- Lead EHR data mapping initiatives for new health system onboardings, resolving terminology and coding discrepancies
- Develop training materials and conduct educational sessions for clinical staff on new platform features and data interpretation
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate clinical requirements into detailed functional specifications
- Monitor post-deployment clinical data quality metrics and escalate anomalies to the appropriate technical teams
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Nursing Informatics, or a related clinical discipline
- 3+ years of experience in clinical informatics, EHR implementation, or health IT consulting
- Hands-on experience with at least one major EHR system (Epic, Cerner, or MEDITECH)
- Strong understanding of clinical terminologies such as SNOMED CT, ICD-10, LOINC, and RxNorm
- Proficiency in SQL or similar query languages for clinical data extraction and validation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical clinical audiences
Nice to Have
- Active clinical license (RN, PharmD, or equivalent)
- Experience with FHIR-based interoperability standards and health information exchange
- Certification in health informatics (AHIMA, AMIA, or equivalent)
