About This Role
Tile Health is expanding into the payer market, where health plans need better data, analytics, and provider collaboration tools to manage risk and improve member outcomes. The Account Executive for Payer Markets will pioneer this segment, building relationships with health plan executives and demonstrating how Tile Health’s platform can enhance risk adjustment, quality reporting, and provider network performance. This is a market-making role that requires entrepreneurial energy and deep payer industry knowledge.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a territory plan for the payer market segment, identifying target health plans and building an outbound prospecting strategy
- Conduct discovery with health plan executives including Chief Medical Officers, VP of Analytics, and VP of Network Management
- Position Tile Health’s analytics and interoperability capabilities as solutions for risk adjustment accuracy, HEDIS performance, and provider collaboration
- Build business cases that demonstrate the financial impact of improved data quality and care gap closure for payer organizations
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to refine payer-specific messaging and create market-appropriate collateral
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience with at least 2 years selling to health plans, managed care organizations, or payer services companies
- Deep understanding of payer operations including risk adjustment, quality measurement (Stars, HEDIS), and network management
- Experience navigating long enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders across medical, IT, and procurement departments
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to develop novel value propositions for an emerging product category
- Willingness to travel to payer headquarters and industry events (approximately 30% travel)
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms
Nice to Have
- Existing network of relationships with health plan executives in the Midwest or nationally
- Experience in a market-making or new segment expansion role at a technology company
- Familiarity with CMS regulatory requirements for Medicare Advantage and Medicaid managed care plans
