About This Role
Revenue cycle inefficiency is one of the largest operational cost drivers for health systems. Tile Health’s billing and claims products aim to automate charge capture, reduce claim denials, and accelerate payment collection. The Product Manager for Billing & Claims will work closely with revenue cycle operations, engineering, and health system partners to build products that deliver measurable financial impact in a domain where accuracy and compliance are non-negotiable.
What You'll Do
- Own the product roadmap for billing and claims management features including charge capture, claims scrubbing, denial management, and payment posting
- Conduct discovery with revenue cycle leaders at partner health systems to understand operational bottlenecks and automation opportunities
- Write detailed product requirements and user stories, collaborating with engineering and design to deliver solutions that meet clinical and billing compliance standards
- Define success metrics tied to revenue cycle KPIs such as clean claim rate, first-pass resolution rate, and days in accounts receivable
- Monitor regulatory changes in billing requirements (CPT updates, prior authorization rules) and translate them into product adaptations
- Partner with the sales team to support demos and RFP responses for revenue cycle product capabilities
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of product management experience with at least 2 years in healthcare revenue cycle or billing technology
- Working knowledge of professional and facility billing workflows, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and payer adjudication processes
- Experience shipping products that integrate with practice management systems, clearinghouses, or EHR billing modules
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret revenue cycle data and identify improvement opportunities
- Excellent stakeholder management skills for navigating between technical teams, billing operations, and health system executives
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI-assisted coding or charge capture automation products
- Familiarity with X12 EDI transaction standards (837, 835, 270/271)
- CPC or CCS coding certification
- Background in payer contract modeling and fee schedule analysis
